This month marks 18 years since I first joined Drupal.org, and reflecting on this journey fills me with deep gratitude and joy. Drupal has been more than just a technology for me—it’s been a home, a community, and a catalyst for some of the most rewarding moments of my career.

From my early days at WESTAF, pingVision, and founding Vintage Digital, to leading transformative projects at Examiner.com and Pfizer, Drupal has been the common thread weaving through my entire professional life. I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible teams at 5 Rings Web, Aten Design Group, and Cheppers USA LLC—each experience reinforcing my belief in open-source collaboration and the power of shared knowledge.
But my connection to Drupal has gone beyond the workplace. I helped found Drupalcamp Colorado, co-founded Drupal Colorado LLC (where I continue to serve as chair), and played a role in launching the Event Organizer’s Working Group. Serving on the Drupal Association Board of Directors was an honor—one that deepened my appreciation for the people who make this ecosystem so vibrant.
Drupal has shaped me not only as a technologist but as a leader, mentor, and advocate. It has fueled my passion for inclusivity, given me a platform to champion neurodiversity in tech, and gifted me with friendships that span continents.
Eighteen years in, I remain as excited as ever about Drupal’s future. To everyone I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with—thank you. Here’s to many more years of building, learning, and giving back to this incredible community. 💙
